Pin Replacement
The most common repair (apart from filling cracks) is a pin replacement. This is a standard repair, and something we do on a regular basis. Where it can’t be repaired, we will give the option to create a new part matching the original broken part.
Crack Fills
As african blackwood (and other woods used in manufacturing) is a natural product, there can be defects that occur through time, or through neglect. We will always review the crack before we start any work. Sometimes, the pipe simply need some moisture in them to close the crack, and sometimes it’s only superficial.
