Actually, we use this for kneading and first rise. We’re older women who can’t do the job manually any more. We also like to make shaped loaves, so we oven bake the dough. The Breadman is wonderfully easy to use, and the dough is always very smooth, with no lumps of ingredients or add-ins. There’s a nice recipe book, but we find it works quite well with our own recipes. East to program machine with a good variety of options.
