I like this knife. The light Damascus pattern looks amazing. I own an 8″ Kasumi chef knife and while this one didnt arrive as sharp as the chef knife it is still more than adequate. One word of advice: YouTube a few videos to get a few pointers about how to use it. I was trying to thinly cut green cabbage for coleslaw but it seemed difficult to cut by placing the tip on the cutting board and chopping straight down. Once I figured out to “push-cut” and follow through on the cutting board, it cut like a hot knife through butter.
