Exactly what I needed, the sisal bristles allow the brush to hold its shape. When I am finished using it, I squeeze it back into shape before returning it to the holder, it retains its form perfectly. Other types I have tried were either sisal but much shorter bristles and too stiff for my liking, or had nylon bristles that lose their shape quickly. These sisal brushes are GREAT!
